About the staff
Stephen Bergdahl, Ph.D.
Stephen is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy in addition to a wide variety of educational and neurocognitive assessment services. He earned a Ph.D. and M.A. through the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, CA. Prior to professional psychological studies and practice, Dr. Bergdahl served for five years as a high school teacher in the biological sciences. This included writing and teaching his own neuroscience curriculum in a pioneer high school course. In addition to expertise in the psychological field, Dr. Bergdahl is familiar with the education system and its demands for social, emotional, and learning disability assessment and support. He has a degree in neurobiology from the University of California, Davis, and his current practice is informed by brain-based neurological research.
Sarah Bergdahl, M.Ed.
Sarah is a trained psychological testing technician. She has a masters degree from University of California, Davis in Education with a bachelors in English. Her first career was as an English teacher where she also coached Speech and Debate. In Moscow, Sarah worked as a paraprofessional at Lena Whitmore Elementary in the Title 1 reading intervention program. Sarah has branched out and become a certified yoga instructor, and she is currently teaching in the University of Idaho IFIT Department, preschool yoga, and classes for the community.
Philip Freeman
Philip is a trained medical biller with extensive experience in IT systems. Having worked for Apple Inc. and other technology companies, he is well-equipped to assist clients in scheduling their initial appointments, clearly understanding their financial obligations, and managing bill payments with ease.
